RADIO - KNOB - SPEAKER CONTROL REAR SEAT - AVAILABLE FOR SERVICE

ISSUE:
A rear seat headphone speaker control knob has been released for service. In the past, the whole control module had to be replaced if the knob was broken or missing.

ACTION:
Replace the old knob with the new serviceable knob. Refer to the following service procedure for details.


SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Remove the knob by grasping it and pulling it straight off the volume control shaft.


2. Install the new knob.

a. Align the "D" shaped hole in the end of the control knob with the "D" shape of the volume control shaft.

b. Push the knob straight or until it is firmly seated on the shaft.
