SUSPENSION - FRONT - VEHICLE RIDES LOW AND/OR CAMBER CANNOT BE ADJUSTED WITH STOCK ADJUSTERS - F-250 4X4 SUPER CAB VEHICLES WITH 7.3L ENGINE
LIGHT TRUCK:
1991-94 F-250
ISSUE:
The front end of some vehicles may ride low and/or camber cannot be brought into specifications using stock adjusters. This may be due to the weight on the front end which causes the front springs to change height over time.
ACTION:
Replace the front springs with revised springs which have an improved arch that will increase ride height. Refer to the Service Procedure for details.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Replace both Front Springs (F5TZ-5310-B). Refer to the appropriate Service Manual for removal and installation procedures.
NOTE:
THE NEW SPRINGS WILL NOT INCREASE FRONT END LOAD CAPACITY, IT WILL ONLY RAISE THE FRONT RIDE HEIGHT.
2. Verify wheel alignment after spring installation and adjust to specifications when necessary.
