LIGHT TRUCK:
1992 F SUPER DUTY, F-250, F-350, F-47

ISSUE:
Lack of power or a stumble may be caused by pieces of the hood insulator getting sucked into the engine air cleaner intake tube. This can block off the engine air supply.

ACTION:
Install a new hood sound insulator with improved retention qualities. Refer to the 1992 Light Truck Service Manual for service details.

NOTE:
DO NOT SIMPLY REMOVE THE ORIGINAL INSULATOR BECAUSE NOISE LAWS MAY BE VIOLATED IF THIS IS ALL THAT IS DONE.
