Backup Lamp: Description and Operation

OPERATION
With the Ignition Switch in "RUN", voltage is applied from Fuse 5 to the Manual Lever Position (MLP) Sensor (E4OD or 4R70W) or Backup/Neutral Position Switch (C6 or AOD). With the switch closed, voltage is applied to the Backup Lamps.
