SEAT - THIRD ROW BENCH - SEAT BACK COVER HAS "LOOSE/BAGGY" APPEARANCE AT TOP OF SEAT
LIGHT TRUCK:
1992-93 ECONOLINE
ISSUE:
The third row bench seat back trim cover may have a "loose/baggy" appearance at the top of the seat. This occurs when the third row rear seat is occupied and foam material of the rear seat back pad (under the trim cover) chafes the upper portion of the seat back frame. This causes premature wear or tear in the pad which then shifts downward, resulting in trim cover bagginess and a loose fit appearance.
ACTION:
Replace the foam pad with a new design pad which has a protective grey Duon strip inserted into the molded foam to protect the trim cover when the seat is occupied. Refer to the 1992/93 Econoline Service Manual, Section 1-10C, for service details.
