Wiper and Washer Systems: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The Interval Wiper/Washer allows the driver to select one of the following wiper operations: Low-Speed, High-Speed, or Interval wiping.

OPERATION
During washer operation, with the Wiper Control Switch in "OFF" or "INT" position, the wiper will operate as long as the washer switch is closed (pushed in). When the washer switch is opened (release), the washer will stop immediately, but the wipers will continue to operate for one to four additional sweeps.

During Interval operation, the wipers make single low speed wipes separated by a variable length pause.
