Rear Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair

1. Remove transmission, then the clutch and clutch housing.
2. Remove flywheel, then the rear cover.
3. Using an arbor press and a 4 1/8 inch spacer, remove oil seal.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Lubricate new oil seal with DOAZ-19584-A grease, or equivalent. Apply suitable sealant to sealing surfaces. Tighten flywheel attaching bolts to specifications.
