INTERIOR TRIM - ENGINE COVER CONSOLE DOOR - "BREAKAWAY" FEATURE

1992-93 ECONOLINE

ISSUE:
The door on the engine cover console is designed to "break away" from the console housing if too much downward force is exerted on the door while it is open. This feature prevents damage to the door and console.

ACTION:





To reinstall the door, realign the plastic hinge torque washers and snap the door back into place. Refer to the Figure 1 for service details.
