DA90 - Check Sensor

Sensor Wiring Schematic:

Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) 118 and 113 indicate that the sensor signal was greater than the Self-Test maximum of 4.6 volts. The DTC was generated under normal driving conditions. Continuous Memory DTCs 117 and 112 indicate that the sensor signal was less than the Self-Test minimum of 0.2 volts. The DTC was generated under normal driving conditions.

DTC 112, 113 refer to the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor
DTC 117, 118 refer to the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor

Possible causes:
- Faulty sensor.

- Open circuit in harness.

- Grounded circuit in harness.

- Faulty PCM.

- Enter Key On Engine Off Continuous Monitor Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM). Continuous Monitor Diagnostic Test Mode (Wiggle Test)

- Observe Digital Volt/Ohm Meter (DVOM) or STAR LED for indication of a fault while performing the following:

- Tap on the sensor to simulate road shock.

- Wiggle the sensor connector.

- Is a fault indicated?

Yes -- Disconnect and inspect connectors. If OK, replace the sensor. Clear continuous memory. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

No -- Go to DA91. DA91 - Check EEC-IV Vehicle Harness
