Front Outboard Seat Belt
SPECIAL SERVICE TOOL REQUIREDSeat Belt Bolt Bit # 50 Torx, C771-2100-A
REMOVAL
F-150 - 350 Regular Cab W/Front Bench Seat Shown, F-350 Crew Cab/Bronco Similar:
F-Series SuperCab With Bucket/Captain's Chair Shown, F-Series/Bronco Similar:
1. Remove front seat shoulder strap guide cover.
2. Remove bolt attaching D-ring using Seat Belt Bolt Bit # 50 Torx, T77L-2100-A.
3. Remove safety belt retractor cover bolt access plug and remove bolt attaching front safety belt retractor and tongue, using a seat belt bit # 50 Torx.
4. Remove bolt attaching front safety belt to front floor pan using a seat belt bit # 50 Torx.
5. Remove front safety belt and retractor.
6. If removing front safety belt buckle, lift front safety belt shield and remove anchor bolt using a # 50 Torx bit.
NOTE: Disconnect electrical connector on driver's safety belt buckle before removing anchor bolt.
INSTALLATION
1. For Installation, follow removal procedures in reverse order.
2. Check sealer around floor anchor bolt holes and add Ford Caulking Cord D6AZ-19560-A.
3. Tighten anchor bolts to 30-40 Nm (22-30 ft lbs).
4. Check system operation.
