- Check to see if the brake shoe adjusting screw socket is properly seated in the notch of the web.

- Does the brake shoe adjusting screw socket check OK?

YES -- Go to S5. S5 - Check Adjuster Threads

NO -- Reseat brake shoe adjusting screw socket.
