NOTE: The brake warning lamp should only light when the ignition switch (11572) is in the START position or when the ignition switch is ON and the parking brake is applied.

- Release parking brake.

- Check fluid level in reservoir. Fill as required.

- Key in ACCY or ON.

- Does brakelamp turn on?

YES -- CHECK switch wiring for possible short to ground. REPAIR or REPLACE as required. GO to B2. B2

NO -- GO to B3. B3
