J12 - Check For Fuel Pump Relay Always Closed

- Key "OFF".

- Locate and disconnect fuel pump relay.

- Key on.

- Is fuel pump "OFF" with relay disconnected?

Yes -- Replace fuel pump relay. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

No -- Service short to power in power-to-pump/Fuel Pump Monitor (FPM) circuit.

Reconnect fuel pump relay. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
