Instrument Panel - Finish Panel

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Pull out and remove the instrument panel ash receptacle.
3. Remove three screws retaining the ash receptacle drawer retainer and remove the drawer retainer.
4. Remove center and left-hand snap-in moulding on each side of the steering column.
5. Remove the cigar lighter knob and element.





6. Remove headlamp switch knob and shaft and unscrew the bezel.
- To remove headlamp knob from shaft, insert a hooked tool into knob slot to depress spring. Then pull off shaft.
7. Remove five screws and steering column opening cover.
8. Remove two screws retaining instrument panel finish panel at the top.
9. Pull instrument panel finish panel away from the instrument panel by unsnapping the snap-in retainers and disconnect all connectors to main wiring from the instrument panel finish panel.





10. For installation, follow removal procedures in reverse order.
