C2 Check Proper Valve Resistance at Control Module Connector

- Key OFF.

- Install 60-pin breakout box. Make sure the correct Econoline 4WABS overlay is installed.

- Measure valve resistance between breakout box Pins 32 and 37.

- What resistance is measured?

Less than 3 ohms and Code C1200 was obtained low resistance detected. Go to C5 to determine fault location. C5 Determine Location of Resistance Fault

3-6 ohms and Code C1198 or C1200 was obtained. Go to C3. C3 Check For Intermittent In Short to Ground, Circuit 495

More than 6 ohms and Code C1198 was obtained high resistance detected. Go to C5 to determine fault location. C5 Determine Location of Resistance Fault
