CHILD SEAT LOCKING CLIP

WARNING: IF YOU DO NOT USE A LOCKING CLIP, INJURIES COULD RESULT FROM THE CHILD SEAT TIPPING OVER DURING NORMAL BRAKING OR CORNERING.

The locking clip must be used to secure a child seat when the vehicle has a shoulder and lap belt with a sliding tongue. Every safety belt that requires a locking clip is identified on the belt with a label shown in the provided illustration. The locking clip is installed on a sample piece of webbing to show proper installation.
