Converter Stator to Impeller Interference Check - With E4OD

STATOR TO IMPELLER INTERFERENCE CHECK
1. Position stator support on bench, with spline end of shaft pointing up.
2. Mount converter on stator support with splines on one-way clutch inner race engaging mating splines of stator support.
3. Hold stator support stationary and try to rotate converter counterclockwise. The converter should rotate freely without any signs of interference or scraping within the converter assembly.
4. If there is any indication of scraping, the trailing edges of the stator blades may be interfering with the leading edges of the impeller blades. In such cases, replace the converter.
