Knock Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Remove the Knock Sensor (KS).
1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Remove the knock sensor.
3. Remove the knock sensor adapter.
4. Remove the knock sensor heat shield.












INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
