Oil Pump: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Raise and support the vehicle .





2. Remove the oil bypass filter.





3. Remove the bolts.





4. Remove the (A) oil pump drive gear, (B) oil pump driven gear, (C) oil pump O-ring and (D) oil pump and filter body. Discard the (C) oil pump O-ring.


INSTALLATION








1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.

NOTE: Lubricate parts with engine oil before assembly.
