Lubricate
    Universal Joint, Drive/Propeller Shaft
      If equipped.
    Steering and Suspension
      Lubricate steering linkage.
    Slip Yoke
      If equipped.
Check
    Air Filter Element
      Extremely dusty conditions will require more frequent replacement of air filter. Check every 3,000 miles until a replacement interval can be established.
Replace
    Oil Filter, Engine
    Engine Oil
Rotate
    Tires
      Rotate tires and adjust air pressure. (1) Wheel lugnuts must be retightened to proper torque specifications at 500 miles (800 km) of new vehicle operation (100 miles/160 km and 500 miles/800 km for vehicles equipped with dual rear wheels or equipped for snowplowing. Also retighten to proper torque specification 500 miles (800 km) after any wheel change or any other time the wheel lug nuts have been loosened. On dual rear wheel vehicles, rotate the front tires side to side without disturbing the rear tires.
