Piston: Service and Repair

DISASSEMBLY
1. Mark the pistons to ensure assembly with the same connecting rods and installation in the cylinders from which they were removed.
2. Mark the connecting rod to ensure correct orientation to piston on reassembly.





3. Remove the piston pin retainers.





4. Push the piston pin out of the connecting rod and piston.





5. Separate the piston from the connecting rod.

ASSEMBLY
1. Reassemble the connecting rod to the piston.
2. Follow the disassembly procedure in reverse order.
