Installation

1. Install the head gasket onto the cylinder head.
2. Lightly lubricate the cylinder head retaining bolt threads and flanges with clean engine oil.





3. Install the Cylinder Head Lifting Bracket.





4. With an assistant, position the cylinder head on the engine.
5. Remove the Cylinder Head Lifting Bracket.





6. Tighten the cylinder head bolts.

NOTE: Make sure to tighten the cylinder head bolts in three steps.





7. Further tighten the cylinder head bolts.





8. Final tighten the cylinder head bolts.





9. Install the fuel retaining clamp onto the cylinder head.





10. Connect the fuel return tube onto the cylinder head.
11. Position the fuel tube nut onto the intake manifold stud.





12. Install the high-pressure oil tube on the cylinder head.





13. Install the fuel supply tube onto the rear of the cylinder head.
14. install the push rods, rocker arms and rocker arm cover.
15. Install the fuel injectors.





16. Install the A/C compressor mounting bracket and retaining bolts





17. Connect the vacuum hose to the vacuum manifold.





18. Install the air conditioning manifold lines (if so equipped).





19. Connect the electrical connector onto the A/C compressor.





20. Install the power steering lines.
21. install the turbocharger compressor mambos.
22. Install the upper radiator support, radiator grille opening panel and the radiator grille.
23. Install the A/C condenser (if so equipped).
24. Install the radiator.
25. Install the parking lamps and the headlamps.
26. Install the air cleaner and inlet tube.





27. Connect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector.
28. Install the engine cover.
29. Reconnect the battery ground cable.
