Model Variations

A 1998.5 "Clean V" model was introduced during the 1998 model year. Features include a frame rail mounted electric fuel pump that replaced the engine mounted tandem mechanical pump. Some test procedures and Diagnostic Trouble Codes differ between these models. Differences in procedures are called out when they occur.
