Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair

REMOVAL

CAUTION: Always disconnect the battery ground cable prior to work on the electronic engine controls or damage to the electronic component may occur.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Remove the Engine Coolant Temperature sensor (ECT sensor).
1 Disconnect the electrical connector.
2 Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.







INSTALLATION
1. Install the engine coolant temperature sensor.
1 Install the engine coolant temperature sensor.
2 Connect the electrical connector.
2. Connect the battery ground cable.
