ISSUE
A new parking brake control rubber bumper stop is now available for service. It is no longer necessary to replace the parking brake assembly for a missing rubber bumper stop.

ACTION
Replace only the rubber bumper stop, which is now available as a service part. Refer to the following Service Procedure for details.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Inspect parking brake control for missing rubber bumper. If it is missing, the parking brake signal switch won't close.

2. If missing, install a new Rubber Bumper (F85Z-2B184-AA).

3. Insert E-Clip (353862-S8M) between bumper carrot and pedal stamping.
