Outside Rear View Mirror Cover

REMOVAL







1. Remove the mirror glass.
1 Position the mirror glass to obtain a gap at the outside edge of the mirror.
2 Carefully pry the outside edge of the glass away from the mirror housing.







2. Disconnect the electrical connector.







3. Remove the outside rear view mirror cover.
^ Release the cover tabs.


INSTALLATION







1. Install the outside rear view mirror cover.
^ Insert the cover tabs.







2. Install the inserts into the mirror housing.

NOTE: Position the tabbed inserts in the mirror housing with the locator tabs facing the center of the housing.







3. Connect the electrical connector.







4. Install the mirror glass.
^ Engage the center pivot and the four inserts.

NOTE: Engage the center pivot before engaging the four inserts.

5. Test the mirror for normal operation.
