Instrument Panel - Steering Column Cover

REMOVAL







1. Remove the steering column opening cover.
1 Carefully pry to release the clips.
2 Remove the steering column opening cover.

NOTE: Move the shift lever to the 1 position to ease removal.







2. Pull to release the (A) clips and remove the (B) fuse door.







3. Disconnect the hood latch release handle from the instrument panel steering column cover.
1 Remove the screws.
2 Disconnect the hood latch release handle from the steering column cover.







4. Disconnect the parking brake release handle from the instrument panel steering column cover.
1 Remove the screws.
2 Disconnect the parking brake release handle.







5. If equipped, remove the instrument panel floor duct panel.
^ Remove the two push clips and release the expander clip.







6. Remove the lower instrument panel steering column cover.
1 Remove the bolts.
2 Remove the lower instrument panel steering column cover.

INSTALLATION
















1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
