This TSB article is being republished in its entirety to clarify that this article pertains to 4X4 vehicles only.

ISSUE

A "clunking" noise may be heard from the front end on some vehicles. This may be caused by the front stabilizer bar contacting the frame.

ACTION

Replace stabilizer bar and stabilizer bar insulators with revised service parts. Refer to the 1998 Expedition/Navigator Workshop Manual, Page 204-01B-21, for details.
