Catalytic Converter: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the muffler.





2. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.





3. Disconnect the two heated oxygen sensor connectors.

NOTE: The exhaust inlet crossover pipe is shown removed for clarity.





4. Remove the bolts and nuts.
5. Remove the Three Way Catalytic Converters (TWCs).

INSTALLATION





1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.

NOTE: Before installing the TWCs, install new gaskets.
