Fuel Injector: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

WARNING: DO NOT SMOKE OR CARRY LIGHTED TOBACCO OR OPEN FLAME OF ANY TYPE WHEN WORKING ON OR NEAR ANY FUEL RELATED COMPONENTS. HIGHLY FLAMMABLE MIXTURES ARE ALWAYS PRESENT AND MAY BE IGNITED, RESULTING IN POSSIBLE PERSONAL INJURY.

1. Remove the fuel injection supply manifold.







2. Remove the eight fuel injectors from the fuel injection supply manifold.







3. Inspect two O-rings from each fuel injector, and replace as needed.

1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.

NOTE: Lubricate new O-rings with engine oil.
