Engine: Description and Operation

The 2.5L I-4 overhead cam engine has a twin spark plug cylinder head design with a high data rate Electronic Ignition (EI) system. The crankshaft is supported by five main bearings and the camshaft by four. Main, connecting rod, and camshaft shaft bearings are replaceable.
