TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS
Tighten the bolts in pairs in three steps.
1 Finger tighten the bolts.
2 Tighten the bolts to 68-81 Nm (51-59 ft. lbs.).
3 Tighten the bolts to 102-115 Nm (76-84 ft. lbs.).
4 Measure crankshaft torque-to-turn.

NOTE: Seat the main bearings in the saddles prior to bolt tightening. Do not rotate the crankshaft until all main bearing caps are tightened.
