Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
1. Verify the owner's concern by operating the handles, locks, latches and mechanisms.2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage.
NOTE: Before starting any electrical diagnosis, make sure the battery is fully charged. Check for mechanical binds by manually operating the door locks. Then, operate the power door lock system several times from each switch, while observing the operation of each door lock.
