Steering Column: Service Precautions

NOTE: All fasteners are important because they can affect the performance of vital parts and systems. Improper installation of the fasteners can result in major repair expenses. They must be replaced with fasteners of the same part number if replacement becomes necessary. Do not use a replacement part of lesser quality or substitute a design. Torque values must be used during assembly to make sure these parts function properly.
