Component Tests and General Diagnostics

NOTE: Use two No.10 (or larger gauge) jumper wires to test the horn.
1. Connect a jumper wire to the horn bracket and a known good ground.
2. Press the horn switch. If the horn sounds, repair the grounding point. If the horn does not sound, proceed with testing.
3. Connect a second jumper wire to the horn positive connector and the positive battery terminal. If the horn still does not sound, replace the horn.
4. Repeat test for second horn, if so equipped.
