Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. Verify the customer concern.
2. Inspect the entire turbocharger system for obvious signs of damage, using the following chart.

Visual Inspection Chart

Mechanical
- Damaged intake hoses
- Loose hose clamps
- Loose exhaust clamps
- Damaged turbocharger
- Restricted intake or exhaust

3. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, go to the symptom chart.
