REMOVAL
1. If equipped with power seats, raise the seat to its maximum height.
2. If equipped with power seats, disconnect the battery ground cable.






3. Remove the front seat.
1 Remove the bolts.
2 If equipped, disconnect the seat regulator control switch electrical connector.
3 Disconnect the safety belt warning indicator electrical connector.
4 Remove the nut.
5 Remove the front seat

INSTALLATION






1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 mi) or more to relearn the strategy.
