Fluid - Transfer Case

CAUTION: If the proper rill procedures are not followed, a transfer case failure can result.

NOTE: Fluid level must be just below the fill plug.

Remove the fill plug from the rear of the transfer case and check the fluid level.
-If the fluid is below the level, fill with Motorcraft MERCON(R) Multi-Purpose Automatic Transmission Fluid XT-2-QDX or MERCON(R) equivalent.
