Flow of Diagnosis

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the backup lamps.
2. Visually inspect for the obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage.

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Mechanical
- Backup lamp switch

Electrical
- Fuse junction panel fuse 28 (10 A)
- Damaged wiring harness
- Loose or corroded connections
- Backup lamp
- Digital Transmission Range (DTR) (A/T) or backup lamp switch (M/T)

3. If the concern is not visually evident, verify the symptom and proceed to Symptom Chart. Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
