Special Tools:

Disassembly

1. Use the Impact Slide Hammer and internal puller to remove the output shaft rear bearing outer race.

2. Remove and discard the oil seal.

3. Use Impact Slide Hammer and internal puller to remove the countershaft rear bearing outer race.

4. Use a Blind Hole Puller and Impact Slide Hammer to remove the central shift rail bearing.

Assembly

1. Install the central shift rail bearing.
^ Use a Heat Gun to heat the bearing bore to 160°C (320°F).
^ Use a Needle Bearing Replacer and drive handle to install the central shift rail bearing until it seats against the stop.

2. Install the countershaft rear bearing outer race.
^ Use a Heat Gun to heat the bearing bore to 160°C (320°F).
^ Use a drive handle and Bearing Cup Replacer to install the countershaft rear bearing outer race until it seats against the stop.

3. Install the output shaft bearing race.
^ Use a Heat Gun to heat the bearing bore to 160°C (320°F).
^ Use a drive handle and Main Shaft Front Bearing Cup Replacer to install the bearing cup until it seats against the stop.
