Disassembly





1. Remove the detent.
^ Use the Heat Gun to heat the shift lever housing to approximately 120°C (248°F).
^ Remove the detent.

Assembly





1. Install the detent.
^ Use the Heat Gun to heat the shift lever housing to approximately 120°C (248°F).
^ Press the detent into its mounting hole until it rests against its stop.
