Installation

1. Position the transmission on the high-lift transmission jack.
2. Raise and position the transmission.





3. Install the engine-to-bell housing bolts.





4. Install the crossmember and the LH nuts and bolts.





5. Install the RH nuts and bolts.





6. Install the bolts.





7. Install the nuts.
8. Remove the transmission jack.





9. Install the cooler tubes.





10. Install the slave cylinder.





11. Install the shifter assembly.
12. Install the driveshaft assembly.
13. On 4-wheel drive-equipped vehicles, install the transfer case.
14. Connect the backup lamp switch.
15. Lower the vehicle.





16. Install the gear shift lever assembly.
17. Connect the battery ground cable.
18. Connect the transmission fluid cooler tubes.
