Transmission Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

1. Note: This procedure applies to diesel applications only.

Disconnect the connector.

2. Remove the Turbine Shaft Speed (TSS) sensor.





1 Remove the bolt.
2 Remove the Turbine Shaft Speed (TSS) sensor.

3. Install the Turbine Shaft Speed (TSS) sensor.





1 Install the Turbine Shaft Speed (TSS) sensor.
2 Install the bolt.
