Initial Inspection - Instrument Cluster and Panel Illumination

INSTRUMENT PANEL ILLUMINATION

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the instrument illumination.
2. Visually inspect for the following obvious signs of electrical damage.

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART
^ Blown fuse(s)
^ Damaged wiring harness
^ Loose or corroded connections
^ Circuitry
^ Bulb(s)

3. If the fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and proceed to Symptom Chart. Diagnosis By Symptom - Instrument Cluster and Panel Illumination
