Dual Generator
REMOVAL1. Disconnect the battery ground cable from both batteries; refer to Battery.
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly; refer to Fuel Delivery and Air Induction.
3. Remove the drive belt from the generators; refer to Drive Belts,Mounts,Brackets and Accessories.
4. Remove the electrical connectors from the upper generator.
5. Remove the three bolts and remove the generator by pulling forward.
6. Raise and support the vehicle; refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.
7. Disconnect the lower generator harness connector and harness clip.
8. Remove the three bolts from the lower generator and partially remove generator by pulling generator out slightly and then down. Once generator is partially removed, disconnect the positive battery cable from the back of the generator and remove the generator.
INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
