Transmission and Drivetrain: Application and ID

The Vehicle Certification (VC) label contains the manufacturer name, the month and year of manufacture, the certification statement, and the VIN. It also includes Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings (GVWR).

^ E - Four-speed automatic overdrive (4R100), gasoline engines, F-Series/Excursion/F53 recreational stripped chassis (motorhome)
^ 9 - Four-speed automatic overdrive (4R100), diesel engine, F-Series/Excursion
^ 6 - Six-speed manual, Dana ZF (M6HD-6), F-Series
