The body:
- is a cab-forward design.
- is constructed of lightweight, all steel welded material, with bolted removable front fenders (16005), hinged doors, tailgate and hood.
- has roof and body side panels that are separate pieces.
- is supported by a full frame.
- on F150, has a standard two-door or optional four-door cab.
- on F150, has a standard 1.98 m (6.5 ft) or optional 2.44 m (8 ft) pickup bed length.
