Front Bumper: Service and Repair

BUMPER - FRONT

Removal







1. If equipped, remove the brush shield.
1. Remove the four bolts.
2. Remove the two pin-type retainers.







2. If equipped, remove the two tow hooks.
1. Remove the six bolts.
2. Remove the two tow hooks.







3. If equipped, disconnect the fog lamp electrical connectors.
4. If equipped, disconnect the block heater plug and position aside.







5. Remove the front bumper.
1. Remove the four bumper bracket to frame nuts.
2. Remove the bumper.

Installation







1. Install the bumper.
1. Position the front bumper approximately 25.4 mm (1.01 in) from the bottom of the radiator grill opening panel reinforcement.
2. Install the four bumper bracket to frame nuts.

2. If equipped, connect the block heater plug.







3. If equipped, connect the fog lamp electrical connectors.







4. If equipped, install the two tow hooks.
1. Position the tow hooks.
2. Install the six bolts.







5. If equipped, install the brush shield.
1. Install the two pin-type retainers.
2. Install the four bolts.
