Rear Bumper: Service and Repair

BUMPER - REAR

Removal
1. Disconnect the trailer tow wiring harness from the rear bumper.







2. Disconnect the license plate lamp electrical connector.







3. If equipped, remove the rear tow hook.
1. Remove the nuts.
2. Remove the tow hook.







4. Remove the bumper.
1. Remove the four bumper bracket to frame bolts.
2. Remove the bumper.

Installation







1. Install the bumper.
1. Position the bumper.
2. Install the four bumper bracket to frame bolts.







2. Connect the license plate lamp electrical connector.







3. If equipped, install the tow hook.
1. Position the tow hook.
2. Install the nuts.

4. Connect the trailer tow wiring harness from the rear bumper.
