Front Bucket, 40 Percent Seat

Safety Belt Bolt Bit:

SPECIAL SERVICE TOOL(s)

DISASSEMBLY

NOTE: Passenger side seat shown, driver seat similar.







1. Remove the safety belt buckle.
^ Use Safety Belt Bolt Bit to remove the safety belt bolt.







2. Remove the recliner handle.
1 Press the spring clip inward.
2 Remove the recliner handle.







3. Remove the lumbar support adjustment knob.







4. Remove the lumbar support adjuster.
1 Remove the screws.
2 Remove the lumbar support adjuster.







5. Separate the lumbar support adjuster from the adjuster cable.

NOTE: The lumbar support assembly must be fully relaxed.







6. Remove the front seat back recliner to seat back bolts (one each side).







7. Remove the front seat back pivot bolts (one each side).







8. Separate the seat back from the seat base.

CAUTION: Use care when separating the seat back from the seat base so the lumbar support cable does not become kinked or the operation of the lumbar support will be adversely affected.







9. Remove the seat tracks.
1 Remove the bolts.
2 Remove the seat tracks.

ASSEMBLY






















1. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
2. Check the restraint system for correct operation.
